Prof. dr. Johan Christiaens:
Prof. Dr. Johan Christiaens is professor at the Accountancy and Corporate Finance Department of the University of Ghent and director of ARPS (Accounting Research Public Sector UGhent - E&Y). He also works as auditor and senior manager at Ernst & Young, and is certified by the Monitoring Office of the National Health Service.




Elke Dhondt:
In 2010, Elke Dhondt obtained a master in European Union Studies at the University of Ghent, magna cum laude. One year later, in 2011, she graduated as a master in Management for Governmental Organisations, also magna cum laude.

Elke has been associated on a half-time basis with the ARPS research centre since August 2011. Her principal task is to perform scientific research into the public and non-profit sector. She also works as a consultant with Ernst & Young in the public sector department.
